On Saturday, the 28.05.2022, the 24h race on the Nürburgring started at 4 pm.

Since the 26th of May a large supporting program took place around the 24h race. In addition to different racing series and several races with classic cars, the training and qualifying sessions for the 24h race were held on Thursday and Friday.

After the race unfortunately had to take place without spectators in the last two years, this year, with 230.000 official spectators, even more spectators were counted than in 2019.

At the 24h race not only the more than 20km long Nordschleife is driven, but also the Grand Prix circuit.

Our team competed in the SP10-class against cars from Aston Martin, BMW, Porsche or KTM. Cars in the SP10-class are built according to the GT4-regulations. These are close-to-production cars with 430hp.

One hour after the start our car #84 was on the third position in the SP10-class. At 8 pm the car stopped in the pit lane due to a technical defect. Around 3 am the car left the pit lane and entered the race again. Our second car #83 worked excellently and had no problems through the night.

At the end of the race #83 finished on the 5th position in the SP10-class and on 43rd position in the overall ranking. Despite the several hours of downtime, the drivers of #84 were able to catch up more than 30 positions. 

All involved are motivated for the upcoming races and the team will continue developing the cars.
