Proxes Comfort, in size 225/40 R18 92W has been awarded a "Good" recommendation in the 2025 Auto Bild summer tyre test. Shortlisted from 52 tyres, Proxes Comfort was once again a recommended buy for the magazine. Auto Bild praised its resistance to aquaplaning and short braking distances while also noting that the tyre offered extremely good value for money.

To ensure the most exhaustive result, Auto Bild conduct the largest tyre test in Europe, with 52 brands participating this year. The tyre's undergo a pre qualification braking test and only the top 20 products go through to the full test. Despite Proxes Comfort being primarily a high speed stabilty and comfort tyre, it was in competition with mainly sports tyres. This did not stop Proxes Comfort being able to pass the pre qualification to become one of the brands in the second, full, phase of the testing and to go on to be recommended with a “Good” rating. Almost all of the tyres which made it through to this second phase were sports products with a higher, 'Y' speed rating. Proxes Comfort was able to hold its own against this competition demonstrating its remarkable all round capabilities.

Proxes Comfort performance is even more remarkable considering that the tyre is now four years old, having launched during the pandemic in 2020. Four years on, the tyre still performs well enough to compete against current and sportier offerings from other brands. The tyre has a long history of perfoming well, having been awarded a "Good" rating by the German motoring organisation, ADAC in their 2022 tyre test. The ADAC jointly tested with the Austrian (ÖAMTC) and Swiss (TCS) motor clubs, both of whom rated the Proxes Comfort as "Highly Recommended". In the same year, Auto Bild also awarded the Proxes Comfort a "Good" rating in their summer tyre test of 50 brands of size 215/55 R17 tyres. Also in the same year, their sister publication, Auto Bild Allrad tested 10 brands of 235/55 R18, awarding the Proxes Comfort a "Good" recommendation. The test recommendations continued the next year year when Proxes Comfort scooped second place in the 2023 Auto Express test, the biggest selling magazine in the UK, read by millions of drivers every month. In the same year, the Proxes Coimfort was also awarded a "Good" rating by Auto Bild AllRad in their test of 12 SUV tyres in size 225/55 R17.

The following year, Proxes Comfort was "Commended" in the Auto Express 2024 product awards. Also in 2024, Proxes Comfort was in the comprehensive Auto Bild summer tyre test of 55 brands, earning another "Good" recommendation for its 205/55 R16 model.

Now, again in 2025, Auto Bild has given the tyre a "Good" rating illustrating that the qualities of the Proxes Comfort are both excellent, even compared to sportier models, and long lasting.
