Super 7 by Toyo Tires with record number of participants

The biggest mono-brand race of the Portugese motorsport gets ready for the final race of the 14th season on Estoril racetrack with the largest number of participants ever.
Launched in 2009, Super Seven by Toyo Tires is considered the most competitive and exciting one-brand trophy in Portugese motorsport with the longest running time. Based on two versions of the iconic Caterham Seven (420R and 320R) and divided into three categories (420R, 420R Gentleman and 320R) and utilising Proxes R888R, all sharing the same space and track on time, but with independent and special points. All events include two free practice sessions, two 15-minute timed practice sessions and three races of 20,25 and 30 minutes.
From 18 to 20 November, the Estoril circuit will host the season finale of the 14th edition of the Super Seven by Toyo Tires. A total of 102 cars and 113 drivers will compete in the Caterham Festival - a new record. With a full grid in the 420R and 320R classes, Portugal's most exciting motorsport series returns to the Estoril circuit, which as ince the venue of the legendary Grand Prix of Portugal.
The races on Saturday will serve to qualify the drivers for the races on Sunday. On Sunday, the two final races will take place, in which the drivers will fight for victory.
The big novelty at the Caterham Festival is a rid dedicated to the Caterman 320R a 1600cc engine car, where the three present nations will share the track from the first minute. The Portugese drivers will be joined by nine English and five French competitors in the race for the best grid positions.
The Caterman Festival programme is spread over three days and includes two private practice sessions for each category, two measured practice sessions and two qualifying races, followed by two more final races to decide the winners, with a total of 155 minutes of track time.
