Open Country tires have been adopted as Original Equipment tire for the new Outlander PHEV SUV that Mitsubishi Motors Corporation began selling in Japan on October 31, 2024. Tire size: 235/60R18 103H. Although not fitted to cars sold in Europe, the selection of Toyo Tires for this prestigious model, demonstrates the quality and performance of the brand worldwide.

The Outlander PHEV is Mitsubishi Motors' flagship model, launched in 2013 as the world's first AWD SUV-type PHEV. Based on the concept of "EV for everyday use, hybrid for long trips," this SUV offers powerful, smooth and quiet driving that only an EV can provide, allowing safe and secure motoring in a variety of weather conditions and road surfaces. This major improvement has resulted in significant improvements in EV cruising range, power performance and comfort.
