Ken Block's new Audi RS e-tron GT drives with Toyo Tires
11 March 2022
Ken Block, US-American rally and rallycross driver and creator of the Gymkhana Series, has received a new car in cooperation with Audi: The Audi RS e-tron GT. For this vehicle, he chose the Toyo Tires Celsius as a reliable all-season tyre.
In episode 1 of his new video series, Ken Block introduces his latest car, the Audi RS e-tron GT. Equipped with custom matt white foiled Rotiform wheels and a roof box with exclusive Hoonigan lettering, Ken Block is perfectly equipped for the next snowboarding trip in his hometown in the mountains. With 440 kW and 598 hp and a top speed of 250 km/h, the electric car delivers top performance.
For the test drive on the racetrack, the Audi was equipped with Toyo Tires Proxes Sport. In order to always have the best grip in the variable mountain climate, Ken Block chose the Toyo Tires Celsius for everyday use as a reliable all-season tyre with a modern design and low cross-section. Perfectly equipped for any weather.
The Audi e-tron range is a series of purely electrically powered vehicles. In 2021, Ken Block signed a deal with Audi, who will also provide him with a new all-electric race car made exclusively for him in Germany: the Audi S1 e-tron quattro Hoonitron.
Block confesses that, as a child, Audi inspired him to get more involved with racing and the Quattro range were one of the main reasons he started developing interest in rallying. Just like Audi, Toyo Tires has accompanied Ken Block for many years and is his preferred choice when it comes to tyres.
Further episodes of the series about his Audi RS e-tron GT will follow on his YouTube channel.
