23 August 2023
Toyo Tires will be actively participating at the final European round of the IFSC Climbing World Cup in Koper, Slovenia on September 8 and 9 with an enhanced program...
...No, Toyo Tires representitives will not be scaling the 15metre high speed route. Instead, they will be present throughout the competition, offering fans of the sport who visit their booth, an opportunity to collect a free Toyo Tires souvenir T-Shirt or cap celebrating the Koper round.
On the Gulf of Trieste, overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Koper made its debut as an IFSC venue in 2022. This year, Lead athletes return to Slovenia for the penultimate battle, before heading to the final event of the IFSC calendar in Wujiang, China.
Lead Climbing combines, height and endurance with strategy. Athletes have just six minutes to reach the highest point on a 15-metre wall with an overhang. With different routes at each stage of the competition, every climb is a completely new challenge.
Toyo Tires has partnered with the International Federation of Sport Climbing in this exciting sport in 2023 and branding is visible throughout the courses. Toyo Tires will be in Koper along with VIP guests watching the action as an integral partner of the IFSC.
